Ran into some problems

 Hello and welcome back! i have some news for you all. While editing we ran into our problems. So the group decided that we missed some vital scenes within the film. Most of the scenes are finished, but some of the scenes that were shot didn't fit with the plot. Now there's already been some reshoots, but problems were ran into with that also. As you all know, there has been a lot of scding conflicts within the group. But we did what we could. Me and Franchesca took on the role and redid a scene without Omina as the main character. Originally it was Omnia's character meeting up with Franchesca's, but Omnia was unavavible to film. So, it was switched to Franchesca's character getting stood up by Omnia's character. I'm actually very happy with how the filming itself turned out. There was a lot of cool shots that were done. Franchesca's acting was also surprisingly good, especially because she was so worried about how her acting was going to turn out. There was also a scene that took a while to shoot, because it was a texting scene that was all improved. It was also a shot that went on for like a minute, so i had to have really good camera work and make sure it was focused the entire time. Making it focus on a phone while the person is actively texting on it is actually pretty hard. The scene had to be shot several times, and the first time it was shot it got to the last seconds then it was messed up. That last text that was sent by the main character ended up wth both me and Franchesca bursting out laughing. So of course it had to be cut. It went smoothly though and i like the change that we added. But thats all till i see you again!

Props within the Film

 Hi guys, welcome back! So, for the film there was a lot props involved. Some the props that were used needed safety measures. Car keys were used in one of the scenes, these keys were Natalia's dad's. There was fake blood that was also used. I had to be very careful with the fake blood because it would stain clothes. Omnia (the main actress), had to have it on her back. The blood would've stained her shirt, so I gave her my wet shirt. It didn't end up staining the shirt. I can't say the same for my hands though. They were stained for around 3 days with the fake blood. There was also a scare that the fake blood would cement surrounding the pool. It did for a second, but with enough water poured onto it, it was fine. The biggest safety measure that was taken for real kitchen knife that was used. There was a safety kit that was on hand. Natalia's  dad was also home when the scene was being shot. So, if anything ended up happening it would've gotten quickly take

 The music video challenges a few conventions of music video's.  In most music videos an actor or the singer is lip syncing most of the lyrics. In the music video there's only one scene of lip syncing.  The music video was about friendship. Most music videos are about relationships. There wasn’t any throw away scenes just to take up a lot of time. There wasn’t a lot of cutting between scenes.  The music video used a lot of convections also. A lot of stereotypes were used purposefully, which does represent social groups and issues. Bullying was addressed in the music video. The mean girl wasn't a white girl in the music, it was an Africa American girl.  The music video engages with audiences because it’s relatable. A lot of teens deal with bullying. People also tend to choose to surround themselves with the wrong people. For most people it takes being wronged by the person again and again to let them go.
